10) He makes me laugh every day. Even when I'm mad. The kids owe him big-time.
9) He thinks I'm beautiful. I owe him big-time.
7) He is a big man but he is gentle. He is soft in rebuke and when the shoe's on the other foot he is quick to apologize. He is tender and careful with animals, babies and teenagers. This one trait of his has made him a friend to my mind and a soft place for me to fall.
6) He is crazy about our children. He will sacrifice his time, his comfort and his health to insure
their well-being. Everything he does or doesn't do is with his kids in mind.
5) He worries enough for both of us. This takes a big load off of me and leaves me more time to blog.
4) When it's not football or hunting season, I am his #1 priority.
3) He gives me good publicity. He is always talking me up to the neighbors.
2) He may not be a great communicator, but he's sure a great kisser, by golly!
And the #1 reason I love Joseph Eugene is.....(drum roll please)..............................

1) The man is gorgeous! So, back off ladies, this hunk of burnin' love is all mine.
Happy Anniversary, Sweetheart. I love you!
You are a great man
(oh, I forgot to mention, he's a great athelete, too)

Of course I'm laughing again. Your posts always make me laugh outloud (at least, when they are supposed to be funny). Joe is so great! He makes a great uncle, too. Happy Early Anniversary!
So you have expressed your wish for an increase in communication between you and Joe. As a distant 3rd person observer, I have noticed that though his words may be few, they seem to be well chosen and packed full of meaning. I'll never forget "ooh, put another log on the fire!"
Jessi can attest, I don't read much...but I enjoy reading your blog entries.

I live for a new post on your blog. They make me laugh, they make me cry, and sometimes both. Today I laughed so hard I cried. We love Joe. You might have a little competition from my Natalie. She has a soft spot for him. Happy Anniversary on the 6th. Hope you are not pulling up carpet!!!
Thank you for the smiles and the laughs and for sharing your love of Joe! (Even when Joe tries to look goofy he looks strong and handsome!) You two were meant for each other - a perfect match! So very glad you got married! Congratulations on your anniversary!
I needed to add, he's strong and handsome, you're funny and beautiful! That's a perfect match!
Happy anniversary, happy anniversary, happy anniversary, HAAAAAAAAAPY Anniversary!
I don't even know what to say except thank you for making my day!! You and Joe are two of the coolest people I know.
Happy Anniversary! :^D That picture is too funny. And it makes me feel happy that there are other people as nutty as us in the world!
Happy anniversary! You guys are awesome. BTW, here is the roll recipe you requested on my blog. I don't have your e-mail address or I would have e-mailed it:
3 Tbsp. SAF yeast (or 3 1/2 Tbsp. yeast if other kind)
1 cup warm water (95° to 105°)
2 tsp. sugar
2 cups scalded milk
2/3 cup butter flavored shortening2/3 cup sugar
3 tsp. salt
4 eggs
6-10 cups flour
Dissolve yeast in water mixed with 2 tsp. sugar in a large mixer bowl. Stir a little bit and set aside. In a pan, scald milk, stirring constantly. (Heat on high to a temperature just below the boiling point – when tiny bubbles just begin to appear around the edge of the liquid.) Add shortening, sugar and salt to the pan. Set aside and let cool. Add eggs to yeast mixture and beat with a batter hook. Then add cooled milk mixture to the yeast mixture. Beat. Change batter hook to a dough hook and add enough flour to make a soft dough. (Start with about 7 cups.) When the dough pulls away from the side of the bowl and begins to climb up the hook, it is ready. Knead 7 minutes with dough hook. The dough will be sticky. Add 1 Tbsp. oil to a large bowl. Place dough in the bowl, turning to coat with oil. Cover. Refrigerate overnight. Prepare dough 2 hours before the time to serve. Roll out on a floured surface, shape and let rise. (To encourage rising, heat oven to 350°and place jelly roll pan with some butter in the oven until butter is mostly melted. Dip one side of the rolls in the butter and place on the pan.) Let rise approximately 1 hour or until desired size. Bake approx. 20minutes at 350° or 15 minutes at 375°. Makes 2 jelly roll pans of rolls.
Love you guys so much! You make me so happy!
You just crack me up! Happy Anniversary to you guys! 21 years of wonderful! :)
You crack me up. What a terrific family you have. I love reading your blog and I am so glad I know you!
I tagged you
You just type their name as part of the text of your post like normal. Then, you highlight their name with the mouse. At the top of your posting window is a little icon of the world with a chain link on it. Click on that and it will prompt you to type in a web site. Type in the web site for the blog of the person you're tagging and it will attach to the text you highlighted. That way when your readers click on it, your friend's blog will come up. If that doesn't make sense, call me and we'll go over it..... I;m a quirky person too so I know what you mean. You'll have to narrow it down.
Oh my goodness. I'm crying right now. That is stinkin hilarious. NOt that that isn't a GORGEOUS picture of Joe. Sorry. I've got Preston. Ha ha! Keep hold of him though!
