Here are my handsome baseball players. You won't find any major league-er more serious about the game than these boys. They even have their own local fan club, namely, me, Leah and Joe. Their season began June 2 and just ended July 19. We love it when our team wins and blame the umps when they lose. With 6 games to go to a week (2 games per boy) we have had our share of sno-cones, hotdogs, and sunburns. Just give me my favorite green lawn chair, put me behind the back-stop and I'm good for extra innings. I can't imagine summer without it! Take me out to the ballpark anyday, just as long as its one of my boys playing, I have no time to watch those prima donna guys who play for money and not for just the pure love of the game.
PS Jordie's team took 4th place at State! Jan was the starting pitcher for his team. Dane gained alot of character playing hard for a team that lost every game. GO TEAM!

There's no better entertainment than when you're family is participating! Professional sports doesn't even come close! You will remember these days all your life. Congratulations to Jan, Dane and Jordie on successful seasons!
McKenna had her first season of softball this year and we all had so much fun watching her. (Although I'm not sure I would be up for six games a week.)
I look forward to those days. Our boys haven't tried baseball yet, but I think it will come soon.
